It’s been quite a few months since I have shared my foundation collection. Happy news! I have used up the majority of the foundations shared in my last makeup declutter. Some of them turned (color) before I could finish it, so I chucked them!
Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation: I surprisingly like this foundation. It gives me medium coverage and I like the finish. It hasn’t slipped off my face after wearing it for a full work day.Tarte: This foundation is still going strong. But I think it’s time that I make it a priority to finish it off. I’m going to make this my base foundation for a month or till it’s empty.
Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation: I thought I was going to love this foundation but I was very wrong. This gives me minimal coverage and I don’t love the finish. I have been using this as a base and mixing my darker foundations.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation: This foundation is still going strong. But I think it’s time that I make it a priority to finish it off. I’m going to make this my base foundation for a month or till it’s empty.
Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte: I’m glad I bought this foundation because it is matte and lightweight. I almost forget I’m wearing foundation.
Maybelline Dream Cushion: I like using this foundation when I want a no fuss application and a light/medium coverage. I only worry that it was not a good investment because I don’t know when it is running low.
Urban Decay Naken Skin One & Done: This is another no fuss application but I only use it on the weekends or beach when I want minimal coverage with SPF.
Sonia Kashuk Soft Focus Satin Matte Foundation: Unfortunately this is too dark for me right now. So I don’t know how it wears alone. I have mixed it with the Tarte foundation and it worked nicely.
Cover fx Custom Cover Drops: Another mixing medium for my lighter foundations.
As you can see, the only foundations that match me well are not meant for all day wear. But I have no issues pretending to be a scientist and mix them to perfection. Wowzers! Looks like it’s time to declutter. Follow me to see my Decluttering Series!
